TangoTOWORLD CUP: A Unique Tango Competition in Montreal!
As you already know, we are not far away from TangoTOWORLD CUP Montreal Preliminary, a prestigious competition that is part of the TangoTOWORLD Cup which held annually in March in Istanbul. The TangoTOWORLD CUP is a global event with preliminaries in cities like Buenos Aires, Moscow, London, Rome and this year, the Montreal leg promises to be an event to remember. This year TangoTOWORLD CUP Montreal is happening in August (30th and 31st) and the TangoTOWORLD CUP will be held in Istanbul along with the world famous Tango2Istanbul Festival in March 2026. Note: For the Escenario category, one of the prerequisites for entering the T2i WorldCup is for participants to finish in the Top 5 of one of the preliminaries. Our TangoTOWORLD CUP Montreal is one of those preliminaries.

On Saturday there is free entry for anyone to come and watch the main competition so please feel free to invite your friends.
During the main competition on Saturday, we will be playing tango music between rondas and you are more than welcome to dance as you please. However, please note that entry to the Sunday finals and GALA Milonga at RIALTO Theatre are not free for spectators.
